Contemporary Crafts: all
Instructor: Mrs. Gemma Dowd   
This course is an introduction to traditional, cultural and contemporary crafts. Students will explore material and technique. Using color and design theory, students will create unique hand made items using paper, needlework, jewelry beading, fabric, mosaic/ stained glass, natural materials for wreaths, clay, wood, and more. Students are encouraged to share their own skills with others in class. Guest demonstrators are welcome.

Safety glasses required for class
Some Art projects require you to wear your own safety glasses. Please obtain and bring glasses to keep in your storage bin for the semester or year.
